About Us - Our School

Here at St Andrews Primary School, all staff and families are committed to providing an inclusive and child centred education for our students. We have a dedicated team of adults who work to cover all areas of the Victorian Curriculum. In 2019, we have 52 students divided into three classes, P/1, 2/3 and 4/5/6. Our students have spacious grounds to play and learn in. We have a full size football oval, access to tennis and basketball courts, two fantastic playgrounds and a sand and water play area for students to play in. Cubby land is an area, open in Terms Two and Three where students work together to build cubbies in our bush setting.

Our Music and Band program is extraordinary! Our Music teacher, Kyle, is very skilled at placing students in rock bands from Grades 3 up. Student have the option to learn a variety of instruments through private lessons during school time. We take over the St Andrews hotel once a year for Band Night and are regularly seen playing at other community events! To read more about our Specialist Programs, click here.

We have a long history education the local children of the area. St Andrews Primary School was established in 1858. The current building was built in the early 1980s and the existing old school building has been incorporated in the Wadambuk, the St Andrews Community Centre next door.
